What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Analyst position at ICF?
ICF is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to support digital solutions for a variety of Federal clients, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The analyst will support our NIH projects by collaborating and working with a cross-functional team to deliver quality, innovative, and highly scalable web-based applications to end clients, and will serve as a Quality Assurance Analyst, performing testing and verification/validation activities for team I.T. deliveries. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with cross disciplinary teams.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage and support daily work requests for one or more project teams by:

Use Jira to provide visibility to status, metrics, predictability, throughput, quality, impediments, and dependencies.

Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.

Participate in requirements grooming for sprint preparation
-
Maintain regression testing suite by updating test cases to include newly added functionality.
-
Take part in backlog grooming and sprint planning and work with the project team to identify risks/impacts to the system.

Perform various types of testing including automated, functional, and regression testing on web applications.

Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis.

Execute test cases and identify and track defects with clear steps to reproduce.

Work with the scrum team to analyze user stories and write test scripts using Gherkin syntax.

Develop and maintain test plans and test cases/scripts as determined by project needs.

Advise on and advocate for rigorous QA processes and documentation on projects and within the organization.

Supervise and mentor junior QA staff and business analysts.

Perform QA and work directly with the developers to implement bug fixes and change requests

Conduct demos or training necessary for the successful execution of the project
What you must have:
-
5 or more years of solid, demonstrable experience in various types of testing including front-end, regression, and performance testing on web-based applications.

2 years of demonstrated experience working in modern product development methodologies

Ability to obtain U.S. government public trust clearance

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is :
$70,374.00 - $119,636.00
