We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our intensive care unit (ICU) team. As an ICU nurse, you will provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, detect deviations from normal, and take appropriate action.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor responses to ensure efficacy and minimize adverse effects.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, ensuring effective communication of treatment plans and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in [State/Region].
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU setting; recent critical care experience highly desirable.
- Proficiency in advanced clinical skills, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and titration of vasoactive medications.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
