JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Real Property Supervisor, assist in the search and location of apartments; Negotiate leases, manage a tracking system of apartments, expired and new leases, perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as typing correspondence, reports, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.

- Locates new apartments and evaluates if the apartment meets ICL guidelines and standards.
- Working with the Program and Real Property team, facilitate completion of lease process as instructed.
- Schedule and accompany the Program to view available apartments for approval of the lease
- Inspect apartments for completion before the exchange of checks/keys
- Deliver checks and leases to the landlord for all newly leased apartments
- Pick up keys and deliver keys to Program for newly leased apartments
- Review new and renewals leases once received to ensure all necessary information is complete
- Monitor expired lease rent schedule to ensure renewals are received 60 – 90 days prior to expiration while facilitating correspondence with the landlord for the lease.
- Maintains up-to-date, new and renewal leases, landlord addresses and information.
- Responsible for maintaining a supply of all forms and updates in a timely manner.
- Answer general telephone inquiries from landlords and other ICL departments.
- Other tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalency. BA plus one (1) year or Associates plus two (2) years below experience preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years’ administrative experience in a real estate or property management office.
- Must be able to proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite programs, type letters, report forms and other documents.
