What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zulu Language Instructor position at ICLS?
The International Center for Language Studies (ICLS) is a woman-owned, independent language school based in Washington, DC with over 50 years' experience delivering high-quality training in ESL and over 85 different foreign languages. The ICLS mission is to offer student-centered language programs that develop authentic target language use, focus on individual goals, and enable students to be successful in a global environment.
We are currently seeking experienced Zulu Instructors for immediate openings to teach adult professionals in Washington, DC.
Teaching assignments vary from distance learning to face-to-face for small groups and individual students at a wide range of levels.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Zulu to adults
* Must be a native or near-native speaker, educated in the target language and possess at least a B.A., preferably in Zulu language, second language acquisition, or education
Candidates familiar with the ILR scale, curriculum development and experience preparing students for proficiency testing strongly preferred.
