This position is responsible for receiving work requests from various sources and coordinates the workforce to ensure a timely completion of the scheduled work. This role will work with operational leaders to facilitate the appropriate resources being applied to each job based on its scope and the skill sets required to accurately and efficiently complete the work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Works with Project Managers, Field Superintendent and other Contracting Operations leaders to schedule and staff jobs in a timely manner.
- Maintains open communication with all Contracting Field Associates throughout the day to effectively make scheduling and staffing changes in order to meet customers’ needs.
- Utilizes all available information and data to optimally schedule Field Associates.
- Enters and maintains labor assignments by labor class in ERP system on a daily basis.
- Responds to e-mail requests in a timely manner.
- Maintains Work in Progress (WIP) reports for each job and Field Associate on a weekly basis in order to coordinate and execute near-term schedule adjustments.
- Communicates with other departments to complete various tasks for customers and Field Associates.
- Knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Brady.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company’s mission and values.
- Flexibility to take on additional duties to meet department goals as required.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
WORK HOURS: Monday thru Friday, overtime as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, and telephone and effectively communicate with others. The associate frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop or kneel. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position works in a typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 5 years of related experience in mechanical or contracting work
- Scheduling or dispatching experience is a plus
- Proficiency with computer devices (including laptops and smart phones) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple iOS software
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to prove US employment eligibility
