What are the responsibilities and job description for the Budget Analyst position at ICON?

ICON Government and Public Health Solutions (IGP) is seeking a Budget Analyst to join our team to support the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct budget analysis of financial data calls and portfolio reviews.
  • Development and evaluation of fiscal program builds. Coordinate with other Agencies.
  • Develop spend plans, tracking spending and execution, documenting financial commitments, obligations, and expenses.
  • Draft inputs to the Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) to Congress
  • Participate in the Intelligence planning, Programming, Budget, and Evaluation (IPPBE)

You are:

  • BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience
  • Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience may be exchanged for education
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain a Level 5: Public Trust
  • Location: Rockville, MD
