Accounting Manager

ICONIQ Capital is seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Fund Accounting team. The candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Fund Accounting. As a member of the Fund Accounting team, you would be supporting the investing, administration and operations of our funds, co-investments, and Special Purpose Vehicles for a large number of strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the management of the accounting & finance function, including accounting, tax, financial reporting, data analysis for ICONIQ managed funds
• Review of quarterly GAAP financial statements and Limited Partner reporting packages prepared by the fund administrator
• Support other Fund Accounting team members in managing the year end audit and tax process
• Work with fund operations team to execute capital calls and distributions, including reviewing carried interest waterfalls when applicable
• Support investment valuation team with review of quarterly valuations, including reviewing all portfolio company valuation models for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Aid in regulatory reporting such as Form PF and Form ADV

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in business/accounting/economics/finance, CPA preferred
• 5 years of fund accounting experience with a Hedge Fund, Private Equity/Venture Capital firm or Fund Administrator.
• Experience with Addepar, Investran or other Portfolio Management Accounting System.
• Experience in implementation of software packages such as Investran or competing products or working on complex data migration projects.
• Strong Excel skills (construction of pivot tables, and use of VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and similar formulas).
• Exceptional documentation skills, easily able to document processes, and control, and drive projects related to the setup of policies and procedures.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $130,000.00-$145,000.00 together with a discretionary bonus.
