Overall Responsibilities:
The majority of research projects will focus on evaluating new designs, product concepts, and usability testing.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Design usability and concept studies based on a solid understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
Partner with cross-functional team members as you plan and execute your studies, ensuring your research aligns with top priorities.
Articulate key insights through clear and comprehensive written reports, compelling visuals, frameworks, decks, and documentary style video clips.
Present findings to a diverse audience, including senior leaders.
Contribute to research operations and research team tooling by helping to stand-up and own process, projects, and tools that further our best practices.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
3-5 years industry experience conducting user research in a professional context and has worked directly with users (e.g., lab studies, field studies, surveys, competitive analyses)
A bachelors or masters degree in a research-focused field and/or sufficient experience to demonstrate qualifications for the tasks above.
Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
Product development lifecycle: Knowledge of the overall process for developing products.
This includes knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering and other functions, major phases, checkpoints, and deliverables.
This also includes the ability to identify common issues and considerations for delivering a product.
Outstanding portfolio highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions.
