One of our Automotive clients is looking for an experienced Buyer - Senior in Auburn Hills, MI/ Hybrid
Description:
Responsible for managing quotations, negotiations and awarding of contracts while ensuring necessary capacity and on time contract placement.
Completed Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering from an accredited University is required.
5-8 years of related experience.
Must possess the ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt, negotiate and manage a project(s).
Must be well organized and able to keep stakeholders on track to meet timing objectives.
Must possess strong communication skills with the ability to concisely communicate status updates to senior leadership
Must be capable of managing tactical workload while developing & implementing strategies and process improvements.
Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word) and webbased applications.
Experience in SAP is not required, however would be an advantage.
Strong Communication with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally.
