Equipment Types:
CT: CT scanner - Siemens 64 slice Perspective with Bracco power injector and CT fluoro
MRI: MRI - 1.5T Siemens Altea with Bracco power injector
Xray: X-ray & Fluoroscopy; Interventional Fluoroscopy - Carestream portable Xray, Client/OEC C-arms, Client XR646 Xray room. Client Discovery RF180 Fluoroscopy/Xray system.
Ultrasound: Ultrasound - Client LOGIQ E10 with probes 3D, TV, Small parts, general. Also uses Trophon cleaning system
Required Certifications (Also list any state licenses required):
MRI Tech: BLS, ARRT-MRI
Rad Tech/CT Tech: BLS, ARRT- CT and Radiography
Ultrasound: BLS, ARDMS
Mammo: BLS, ARRT Mammo
Required Education:
Rad Tech/CT Tech: Must graduate from a Radiology Program that will allow them to sit for (ARRT)(R) (CT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification with advanced certification in Cat Scan
Skills required:
MRI Tech: Independent working skills, screening patients, correctly selecting, and applying coils to patients, correct dosing of contrast per patient body weight, competency for starting IVs, and placement proper alignment of scan field and parameter selection for anatomy and protocols within the system itself.
CT Tech: Independent working skills, competency for starting IVs, contrast dosing, protocol, and scan field selection for anatomy of interest. Reconstruction and reformats of images for interpretation.
Rad Tech:
Tech: Independent working skills, competency of positioning for general x ray procedures, fluoroscopy, and c-arm operation. Use of shielding and competency of starting IVs.
US Sonographer: ARDMS
Mammo Tech: Independent working skills, proper positioning of patient anatomy and screening.
Charting System:
EPIC
