After School Instructor job responsibilities:
Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum.
Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects.
Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
After School Instructor - job qualifications:
Experience working with children, whether in a school, camp, or similar setting, and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
Demonstrates effective classroom management skills, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore.
Values punctuality, reliability, and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds.
After School Instructor Schedule and Pay:
Pay is $80 per class (classes are 1 hour long)
We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
All classes run in the afternoon, based on school dismissal
Starting around December, the opportunity to get into classes earlier for observation and training
Classes run starting in December through the Spring/Summer 2024
