Title: Distribution Center Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver excellence to meet customer demands, company expectations and needs of the entire team.
• Evaluate overall operations and develop short term and long-term goals.
• Unify operations, cost optimization, customer growth and deliver key performance metrics.
• Oversee all warehousing, distribution, packaging and transportation operations at your sites to meet or better yet exceed expectations!
• Focus on continuous improvement and make decisions to enhance safety, service, operational excellence and profitability.
• Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment and property.
• Ensure compliance with all company, customer and government/regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors' Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related to distribution operations.
• Minimum 8 years of Warehouse Operations Leadership, e-commerce, fulfillment and distribution.
• Lean / Six Sigma certification
• A track record of Continuous Process Improvement
• Advanced analytical capabilities and experience with WMS systems.
• Experience working for top Contract Logistics' provider.
• Exposure to an automation provider/integrator and/or retailer/ecommerce company with significant investment in warehouse automation systems.
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Consensus builder and team player
• Must have track record of leading multiple e-commerce operations.
• P&L management is a must have.
• Cross functional champion with a safety first mindset.
• A servant and hands on leadership style.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills.
• Strong experience effectively managing and creating a positive work environment at all levels for bilingual hourly team members and salaried team members.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience leading complex warehousing operations.
• e-commerce, retail operations, fulfillment, packaging and (CPG) distribution expertise.
• Knowledge of material handling and storage systems such as convey/sort, AMRs, AGVs, mini-shuttles, unit load AS/RS, and robotic arms.
• Flexibility and willingness to support operations 24/7 if needed.
• A broad range of management skills is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
• Must be able to give and receive innovative, creative and helpful feedback for team growth, productivity and profitability.
• History with performance management systems, progressive discipline and safety reporting.
• Experience with the fiscal components (budgeting, cost controls, etc.) of multi facility management.
• OSHA knowledge and expertise.
• Exposure to industry regulations and requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
