ID Plans is the longest-standing, property information provider for the Commercial Real Estate industry (CRE).
Our Property Data Surveyor's travel the country collecting data and solving property management challenges.
Essential Job Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong accuracy: Capturing complex data without errors, ensuring the quality and credibility of final site plans.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written): Effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining a professional tone.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity or willingness to learn, laser measuring tools, 3D cameras, aerial maps, and software for data recording and mapping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: Meeting travel and project deadlines, and efficiently prioritizing tasks.
- Physical fitness and agility: Climbing ladders, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and using hand tools as well as tablet computers and cameras.
- Problem-solving and adaptability: Unexpected situations may arise. The ability to find solutions and adapt to changing circumstances is vital.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $19 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Additional Experience Desired:
- Experience in property surveying or data collection: Prior experience in similar roles is advantageous but not necessarily required.

- Teamwork and collaboration skills: The ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients for smooth project execution.
- Travel flexibility and adaptability: Frequent travel required, including extended trips away from home with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
- Resilience and ability to handle pressure: Resilience and composure while working outdoors and sometimes in inclement weather to meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively Monday - Friday (home most weekends).
- Access to a reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot extension ladder and handling long-distance drives.
- Must be comfortable with using the ladder to get on roofs of commercial buildings.
- Physical fitness to lift at least 50 pounds independently.
- Comfort working around animals, insects, or other elements often found in and around commercial properties.
