Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: Saint Alphonsus is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Orthopedic Joint Trauma Unit in Boise. This unit has 32 beds and is dedicated to higher acuity cases – typically associated with complex trauma-related injuries, including multi-extremity and compound factures. Schedule: Full Time Days. Three 12-hour shifts per week 7am-7pm. **This position is eligible for a $7,500 Sign On Bonus for experienced LPNs and a $5,000 Sign On Bonus for LPNs with less than 1 year of experience. Bedside RNs and Care Partners are able collaborate with experienced vRNs. Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care™ provides mentoring and support for you as a bedside nurse and other care partners through the 24/7 support of the onsite virtual nurse. What You Will Do: The LPN colleague (licensed) provides safe, quality health care services & assistance to patients under the supervision & direction of a registered nurse or other designated health care professional in accordance with level of experience, education, policies & procedures. Provides nursing interventions & participates in the planning, implementation & evaluation of care Performs delegated focused / holistic care autonomously according to care plan Administers medication & carries out the therapeutic treatment within scope of license (state & TH policy) Minimum Qualifications: Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Practical Nurse (LPN) and as defined by the State Board of Nursing.
