The Production Control Specialist will contribute to the success of the company by handling a wide range of supportive tasks with minimal supervision. In this role you will….

• Close jobs, making sure the right amount of materials have been taken out of inventory, depending upon location.
• Assist with administrative tasks & projects as needed.
• Assemble job packets.
• Create bill of materials for orders; modifies/enters part numbers as needed.
• Serve as back-up for production leadership as needed.
• Run orders due report, work with CSR on ship dates and other reports as requested.
• Submit material demands to plant manager; may order.
• Cut purchase orders for raw materials & other shop supplies
• Coordinate new printing plate folders & plate remakes with artist.
• Double check that all components have arrived prior to running jobs.
• Update production schedules, assist with scheduling jobs.
• Receive estimates on new dies, depending upon location.
• Oversee inventory counts of raw stock and finished goods: monitor unique raw material needs and order as necessary.
• Work with Quality control manager in maintaining QT9 standards
• Assist in production if needed

Who we’re looking for?

• Background in production/manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP literacy
• Technical aptitude a plus
• Experience in/aptitude for Customer Service
• Comfort in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of labels and applications preferred
• Knowledge in costing preferred
