ID Technology is seeking an energetic Controller to provide hands-on leadership and management in the areas of accounting and process improvement. As a strategic partner to the Director of Accounting, the Controller will oversee adherence to the company’s accounting policies, internal control processes, periodic inventories, job costing, and records retention. The position is responsible for internal controls process documentation and updates, cost accounting, general ledger review, and records handling across all L&C locations.

• Development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget goals, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the company.
• Keeps and oversees the records of company transactions and assets. Furnishes internal process documentation, revises and updates documentation to be more useful and current, and furnishes external reports and in person guidance at plant locations as necessary.
• Works with acquisition team on integration planning in office and on-site.
• Responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, sales tax and other applicable tax laws. Ensures the accurate completion of all required reports and analyses e.g. month end and year end closings, financial analysis, etc.
• Interface and act as a technical resource with customer and other departments e.g. manufacturing, sales/marketing, parts, purchasing, engineering, etc., to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
• Educate, teach and provide training and/or resources to each accounting employee, when needed, to maintain the required level of department expertise. Assist with evaluating the performance of personnel in accounting department.
• Additionally responsible, working with AR and AP Shared Service organization to administer Travel & Expense systems (HSBC, Concur).
• Involved with evaluation and implementation of computerized systems in accounting and other areas of the business.
• Partner with GMs to provide analysis and expertise to become more operationally efficient as well as compliant with all internal controls.
• Control expenses within budget constraints. Develop short- and long-range goals and objectives for the accounting department that effectively support the overall goals and objectives of the company.
• Lead projects to reduce working capital and increase plant efficiencies.

• S. in Accounting or Finance
• 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting, strong preference for manufacturing environment
• Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data and design work flows and procedures
• Problem Solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Strong background in financial analysis
• Experience with various software programs preferred (UKG, Syteline, Radius, CERM)
• Audit Experience preferred
• Knowledge of EDP-oriented accounting systems
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role
• Good written and oral communications skills.
• Reasoning Ability, applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Travel up to 40%
