Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Community Development Officer, you will be the face of our company among the community as you build relationships with the public, direct our Community Development team, and lead the planning and actualization of promotional and community events.

Responsibilities

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

  • Organizing promotional and community events and attending them to facilitate their success.
  • Developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships, both internally and externally, to strengthen ICCU’s reputation within the community.
  • Hitting monthly new member and referral goals.
  • Managing multiple projects under pressure and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partnering and coordinating with other departments to deliver the full range of ICCU’s products and services.
  • Creating a positive and upbeat sales culture while maintaining a flexible, adaptive vision for future modifications.

Qualifications

Before you apply, make sure you have:

  • A valid Driver’s License, as this is a driving position (a company vehicle is provided).
  • Knowledge and experience in business and economic development.
  • Independent and organizational skills.
  • The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

 

Also, please let us know in your application if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in marketing credit union products and services to outside companies and agencies.

 

This role may also require some Physical Abilities, including:

  • The ability to lift 70-80 pounds of equipment (potentially including the money machine, coolers, tables, etc.).
  • The ability to tolerate extensive local travel.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to reach keyboards and operate basic office machines.

 

You must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
