We are looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing ophthalmology services to patients, including medical-surgical treatments and examinations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a strong understanding of the ophthalmology field. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
Assist ophthalmologists in patient examinations and treatments.
Perform basic diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, refraction, and tonometry.
Assist with medical-surgical procedures such as cataract surgery and laser treatments.
Educate patients on the importance of eye health and vision care.
Maintain patient records and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, and managing inventory.
