Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: - PhD in Structural Dynamics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable discipline. An interdisciplinary background in electrical engineering/structural dynamics or electrical engineering/mechanical engineering is more desired. - PhD requirements must be completed prior to commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years. - Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills in English. Preferred Experience: - 1 year experience with dynamic finite element modeling experience - 1 year experience with element analysis code and software packages such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, or SAP2000 - Basic understanding of structural dynamics - 1 year proficiency in python or C programming - Good publication record Job Information: - Salary: $95,004.00 Annually - You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment - TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
