The Network Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and control of both digital and analog telecommunications networks
These networks provide voice and data to transmission and distribution facilities, and are the primary focus is to maintain high reliability of these networks
Network Operator is responsible for initiating and coordination service restoration activities. These activities include notifying affected personal, rerouting circuits to restore service for company and customer.
The operator serves as a central contact and point of coordination for all system operation, maintenance, and repair efforts to insure reliable operation of the system and accurate record of events that affect system integrity.
Monitor NERC/CIP Critical sites via alarm monitoring software and/or video surveillance equipment and make necessary contact with appropriate personnel when potential issues are observed
