Responsibilities
- Primary customer service contact for IDC’s Large Enterprise Technology Vendor clients: manage all incoming questions/issues, assess situation, provide resolution for pre-sales and immediate post sale issues (account set up/order confirmation and initial training)
- Support the Vendor Sales Teams in all pre-sales support activities, including proposal generation, assistance in responding to RFPs, managing/assisting with SFDC opportunity management, tracking down analysts/sales specialists for pre-sales meetings
- Enter Orders and ensure customers are set up correctly to receive all proper research deliverables
- Work closely with IDC finance
- Coordinate training of new customer utilization of idc.com
- Resolution of billing and invoicing issues
- Ensure information entered in to SFDC / Juggernaut is timely and accurate
- Forecasting responsibility with Sales Representatives – including monthly forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of previous experience as a Customer Service Representative / Sales Support Specialist or commensurate experience
- Superior communication skills
- Must be proficient with computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, and able to learn new software and web-based systems

Prior experience with Salesforce.com and Power BI is preferred
- This role is ideally based in IDC's Needham, MA office (hybrid schedule), but qualified candidates in approved remote locations will be considered
