- Processes/ supervises processing of all payrolls timely and accurately.
- Knows and understands all regulatory wage and labor laws.
- Maintains/reconciles payroll/benefit - related GL accounts.
- Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions.
- Reports benefit transactions to third party administrators.
- Approves and signs off on all benefit billing.
- Maintains accounting schedules related to payroll and benefits.
- Remits payroll taxes and quarterly tax reports.
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Controller.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular office hours, not a remote position.
- Emotionally intelligent with a genuine desire to serve our internal customers.
- A positive attitude and willingness to be a team member are essential to this position.
- Certified Payroll Professional or degree preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year as a supervisor or manager, required.
- High School or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- Results oriented.

- Teamwork oriented.
- Consistency and attention to detail, even when under pressure.
