POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for conducting in a professional and courteous manner while greeting visitors and the answering of the telephone. To assist with the daily business of the Home Care agency to run efficiently. Ensure agency compliance with all aspects and levels of Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):

  • Answers all telephone calls and transferring of all calls to the appropriate staff member or relays messages in a timely fashion.
  • Greets all visitors and have all visitors sign the visitor's book.
  • Performs basic office duties, filing, copying, faxing scanning of documents.
  • Maintains the front desk area and keeps the reception area clean.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all agency records and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Gathers and distributes incoming mail.
  • Maintains office filing system.
  • General typing and correspondence as required.
  • Organize files and supply closets
  • Maintain office supply by ordering in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with marketing and spreadsheets as requested
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Other office duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High School graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of and willingness to learn basic office procedures and use of equipment.Computer skills. Willing to learn the basic skills required for specific duties. bilingual
