We are Ideal Siding and we are looking for a General Manager at our Boulder and Denver divisions. This is an important role in the development and ongoing operation of Ideal Siding especially in a new territory. It combines both roles of Project (Sales) Manager and Operations (Site) Manager.

You don’t need siding experience, but renovation experience is an asset. We are looking for the right person who has team leadership and project management experience.

Role Description:

As the General Manager you will learn, teach and then oversee both essential roles required to operate a territory. In this role you will be coordinating project sales and delivery for a specific territory and assisting in the overall company as and where needed in the same capacity.

What The Role Is All About:

  • Attending initial meetings with potential clients
  • Writing up Ideal Siding project quotes/proposals
  • Providing estimates/quotes to homeowners
  • Hiring, assigning and managing a crew to each new project;
  • Building relationships and supervising siding crews;
  • Ordering materials and equipment necessary for each project;
  • Managing between 5-20 siding crew chiefs;
  • Managing budget and schedule of the projects;
  • Working closely with clients and crew to answer any technical questions they may have and ensure their satisfaction with the project;
  • Coordinating project delivery and communicating the status of the project and any changes in its scope to the management;
  • Overseeing payments to suppliers and crews;
  • Submitting reports about the progress of the projects

What Are The Qualifications:

  • A mature and responsible person, eager to grow and develop with us;
  • Great understanding of the construction industry;
  • Attention to details and outstanding organizational skills;
  • Effective communication and planning skills;
  • Great leadership and management skills;
  • Sales experience (at least 3 years);
  • Construction experience (at least 3 years);
  • Project management experience (at least 3 years);
  • Reliable car (truck preferred);
  • Driver’s license;
  • Reliable phone and computer;

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
