Public Relations Specialist (SaaS & Hospitality)

The Role:

As our Public Relations Specialist (SaaS & Hospitality), you will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations and communications strategies to enhance the public's perception of our company. You should have a proven record of success in the restaurant, SaaS, and hospitality sectors. Your main role will be to improve our brand image, establish relationships with key media representatives, and manage any negative publicity. Your work will be vital to maintaining and increasing our customer base and promoting our unique selling propositions in a highly competitive market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction
• Prepare detailed media activity reports
• Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
• Work with different marketing departments to generate new ideas for social content to drive communications
• Plan and manage events, press conferences, and PR activities
• Handle the internal communication system within the company
• Manage crises, negative reviews, or news communication
• Contact key media players to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement marketing strategies and new product initiatives
• Physically Represent eatOS at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, as needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or relevant field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations roles
• Proven experience in the restaurant, SaaS, and hospitality industries is mandatory
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Ability to use social media channels effectively to deliver marketing content
• Experience in copywriting and editing
• Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
• Experience with PR campaigns and media management
• Strong communication ability (oral and written)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in English

A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, order management systems, and other restaurant-specific technology
• Familiarity with SaaS and software marketing
  
• Strong media relationships
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  
• Start-up experience (we love entrepreneurs!)
