Responsibilities
The Legal Internship is one section of IDEMIA North America’s 12-week Summer Internship Program. As an undergraduate or recent graduate in a Pre-Law related field, the Legal Internship will provide the prospective law student with direct access to the legal proceedings of a multinational corporation, giving them a great understanding of corporate law. A successful candidate will have exceptional time management, organizational, communication skills, and the ability to solve issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Work alongside staff responsible for legal and administrative procedures
- Conduct legal research
- Collect and organize applicable data
- Assist in drafting policies, procedures, communications, memorandums, and standard documents
- Organize legal files, including scanning, copying, indexing, and coding
- Complete other administrative and legal tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- You are a college junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Pre-Law, Political Science or a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
- Interest in pursuing a career in corporate law
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal administrative role or internship
- Passion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues
