Responsibilities
Overview: Position is responsible for the accurate setup and correction of production equipment to support Production Associates (Operators) in the production of high quality and efficient product flow. Responsbile for setting up, operating, and coaching Operators on all equipment in assigned area; performing and authorizing first piece product verification for all machine operators and setting machine controls, levels, according to standard settings.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Adhere to the IDEMIA Quality Policy
- Contribute to team success by meeting target volumes monthly
- Ability to set up, operate and produce product within ISO specifications while meeting machine expectations provided by the production supervisor
- Cross-training within the department is a must to create flexibility within the teams as described by the production supervisor
- Must possess the ability to use various precision equipment, individual must have some experience with computers; attention to detail is imperative, along with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Must be willing to work overtime as business needs meet market demands
- Support kitting activities when needed
- Maintain 5S activities for machines/area operated to include TPM tasks

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a team based environment
- Experience with plastic substrates (printing, lamination, mechanical punch equipment)
- Experience in ISO/QS type quality systems
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of MS office applications
- Ability to train others
