Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this position are in support of customer facing IT solutions for the TN Bureau of Investigation.
- This is a remote job as there is no local IDEMIA office to report to. Your work-day will begin and end from the TBI Office but may involve daily travel. Some remote work is allowed.
- Maintain system functionality through preventive and remedial measures.
- Work as part of on-premise server support team to support 24x7 operations.
- Compensated On-Call rotation requirements.
- This role may require travel within the state of TN and at times will require overnights to complete a task.
- You will be part of a compensated rotating on-call schedule that at times will be responsible for responding on nights and weekends.
- Support the day-to-day service and repairs operation in order to maintain compliance to the Customer(s)’ contractual SLA requirements.
- Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of field equipment including computers, cameras, printers, UPS, signature pads, scanners and fingerprint capture devices, and ensuring that company assets are tracked and safeguarded.
- Act as liaison between the IDEMIA operations team and the Customer(s)’ operational personnel and some third party vendors.
- Provide/manage hardware and software support and maintenance.
- Responsible for contributing to weekly and monthly reporting as defined by the Supervisor.
- Control/manage consumable and spare parts inventory at levels defined by management.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Experience or Certification in Linux Administration
- Experience with Microsoft Server/Desktop Administration
- Knowledge of AZURE and AWS platform
- Willingness to travel
- Must be able to pass a thorough Criminal Background Check
- US Citizenship Required (dual Citizenship allowed)
Preferred qualifications but not required:
- VMWare Admin
- CJIS Security knowledge
- Relational Database and SQL experience
- Experience working in a Customer support role
