The Strategic Account Executive operates as an executive-level strategic leader within Enterprise Accounts, with a fast-paced, growth-oriented, mindset. The Strategic Account Executive role requires a dynamic, high-energy, highly effective and engaging leader with a strong foundation in business leadership, c-suite relationships, and a proven track record for managing opportunities through the entire sales cycle. The Strategic Account Executive creates customer demand for solutions that allow customers to achieve their mission by enabling strategic global outcomes. The successful leader effectively leads and mobilizes enterprise teams (sales, engineering, technical support) and senior executives (VP, President) to commit to drive the unique strategic account strategies for sales growth and relationship management.
FUNCTIONS
This demand requires a leader motivated by high achievement to drive sales growth and strong wallet share of the customer
Developing strategic solutions for customers that appropriately consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, strategic priorities, and probable consequences
Lead cross-business/multi-geography teams to maximize GAST revenue and customer satisfaction. Work in a teaming environment with local GAST business using personal influence to ensure high quality sales process execution and account management practices.
Manage engagement with customers and local GAST teams. Build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide the appropriate products or solutions.
Lead integrated account planning and ensures the GAST footprint is expanded with as part of the customer’s strategic planning.
Ensure operation excellence, set up rigorous and effective operating cadence, enable tools and performance management; develop and train sales, marketing or any other functions which could contribute to global account revenue growth.
Act as GAST ambassador with customers and formalize the relationship through documents MSA, global frameworks, pricing and term agreement to support the customer’s strategic plans.

Product and market knowledge related to pneumatics and air movement instrumentation.
A team player with the ability to enable changes in business processes and the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization.
Requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data base management required.
Customer obsession: sense of urgency on problem solving, empathetic listening,collaborative partnership etc.
Travel (up to 10%) will be required.
