What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Management position at Idexcel?
- Manage IT infrastructure of multi-country, multi-location subsidiary including NW circuit services, NW equipment, file servers, power systems & security systems:
Equipment: Router, L2 switch, L3 switch, WAN accelerator, PDUs, Firewall, Proxy server, security tools etc.
Provide support to engineers in region for network related issues
Monitor the function and support those entry level desktop support technicians in the same and other location
Provide service outage root cause analysis and resolution
MIS onboarding trainer
- Active directory admin along with SCCM capability & O365
Remote SW installation thru SCCM/Active Directory.
Manage Group Policy, ADFS, File & printer sharing
Manage Office 365 Teams & sharing permissions
Setup and configuration experience is a plus
Secure termination of accounts
- Firewall rule set change upon requirement. Security measures & network level protection:
Microsoft, Symantec, Cisco, SECUI product experience is a plus
- IT infra project management. Coordination with corporate IT strategy team
Based on budget, configuration given, initiate small scale project planning ~ execution ~ completion with periodic reporting.
Monthly budget / IT expense reporting
Asset control
- SAP ERP
Troubleshoot SAP client for users as well as manage permissions & access control
Requirements & Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in IT and/or MIS related discipline
5 years’ experience in technical L2/L3 helpdesk environment
Basic Knowledge and familiarity with Linux commands
Customer service experience
Basic network knowledge
Windows desktop knowledge
CISCO certification and/or experience
Microsoft certification and/or experience
Security knowledge (CISSP is a plus)
Microsoft Active Directory experience required
Microsoft office knowledge (especially Excel, Power point, Outlook)
Firewall operation experience is a plus
IT helpdesk experience
Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, prioritizing, time management skills required
Effective interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with co-workers and other staff
