Armed Security Officer (Part-Time/On Call) Sunday shift! Urgent hiring

Open shifts: Sunday (Flexible hours) and On-call

We are looking for a professional Armed Security Officer to protect our premises, personnel, and property. You will be expected to maintain professional, courteous behavior, while remaining highly visible in order to deter illegal, dangerous, or otherwise nefarious activity. Your goal will be to detect, deter, observe, and report.

Essential Functions

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms and/or requesting 911 support.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, and occurrences.
• Maintains environment by monitoring building and immediately area.
• Requires extensive interior/exterior patrols to assigned areas.
• Regular Attendance, required
• The ability to work all scheduled hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Licensed Armed Security Officer
• Current Licensed ARMED MD Armed Security Officers only
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school diploma
• Prior Military/Law Enforcement a plus

Schedule: Sunday (Flexible hours) and on-call.

Ability to commute/transportation to Baltimore, MD 21218***********MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION *********

• Education:
• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• 2 years of prior security work
• prior law enforcement/military (preferred)

License/Certification:

• MD Guard Card (Required)
• MD Carry Permit (Required)

• Parkville, MD 21234: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
