What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle/Senior React Developer position at IDT?
We are looking for an experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. We are creating Customer Support Applications with several microservices and single-page applications for them using existing ones or from scratch. The selected candidate's primary focus would be developing user interface components, implementing and executing them following well-known
React.js workflows, and ensuring that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to manage. A commitment to collaborative problem solving with a backend team, sophisticated design, and quality products are essential.
\n- Meeting with the UX Team, Development Team, and Product Owner to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using React concepts.
- Writing application interface codes following React.js workflows.
- Writing, auditing, and improving test coverage.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- At least 3 years (combined) of working experience with Javascript or Typescript.
- Several years of client-side development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Scrum (Agile) methodology.
- Extensive past teamwork experience. Ability to be part of a team, and be a supportive teammate.
- Ability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
- Comfortable communication in English, both verbal and written, with team members.
