POSITION SUMMARY
The Training Coordinator is a managerial staff person whose primary responsibilities are to manage training of various direct service and management roles in group and/or individual settings, oversee agency’s certified trainers, supervise the Program Training Assistant , and develop/revise training curriculum.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES
Complete monthly one-on-one check-ins with supervised staff
Complete supervisory job functions:
Oversee the services and documentation at assigned programs
Provide positive feedback to staff and other colleagues
Complete corrective actions with staff as needed
Ensure upkeep of training and certifications for assigned unit
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Training responsibilities:
Become and remain certified as a Coach through the Competency Achievement (CoAch) Program
Provide competency-based training to all levels of direct service staff and management
Act as a coach/mentor to all employees, especially Coaches-in-training and new Program Managers
Complete timely training records, checklists and other relevant training documentation (or provide oversight for these work tasks)
Provide regular feedback to the Program Coordinators to support the ongoing enhancement of training content and materials
Communicate routinely with Program Coordinators, Program Managers, and upper management about struggles and achievements of trainees
Teach classes, as assigned
Enter training records in Therap and attach documents (or provide oversight for these work tasks)
Send reminder emails to staff for scheduled trainings (or provide oversight for these work tasks)
Check in with training instructors monthly
Ensure training classes are available in Therap and the Google calendar on a quarterly basis (or provide oversight for these work tasks)
Engage in respectful communication.

Complete duties assigned by supervisor or designee.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
21 years of age or older
5 years experience providing training in a medical or human/social services field
Experience providing residential support preferred
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license for three (3) consecutive years
Participation in state/federal mandated background check
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Able to read, write and comprehend English
Able to pass and maintain required trainings and certifications
Able to use a computer and internet browser to complete job-related documentation
Routinely push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs if required by the need of the program
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Maintain effective and supportive team communication
