Job Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, recruiting, interviewing and on-boarding of new employees.
General Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams and hiring managers to facilitate recruitment efforts.
- Develop recruitment strategy. This may include job posting, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning.
- Able to preserve confidential information; self-sufficient problem solver; work with little or no supervision and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization.
- Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
- Counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
- Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
- Participate in employment events, such as career fairs and college visits.
- Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software and CRM system to track applicants through the selection phase through to on-boarding.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help to create, develop and implement process improvement(s).
- Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
- Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral direction(s) to project personnel.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ successful experience sourcing and recruiting talent for technical, administrative and management positions.
- Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality
- Regular attendance is mandatory.
Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:
- Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency – Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and build relationships.
- Practices continual process improvement and sourcing best practices to enhance service delivery to customers.
- Exhibits professional negotiation techniques and skills for salary negotiations.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
- Proven ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize and organize multiple activities to meet hiring managers’ demands.
- Ensure that customers (hiring managers) know their needs are recognized and services are being provided as quickly as possible.
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
- Ability to travel locally to Talent Acquisition opportunities.
- Must be able to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
