Job Summary:
The Communications Assistant will take on a variety of concurrent tasks related to short and long-term projects. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating, and maintaining vendor services, organizing promo, transporting items when necessary, and assisting in company social media and communications. This position will be responsible for managing delegated tasks, providing updates, and communicating across company/industry touch points to support minimally interrupted workflow.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support all administrative duties related to projects
2. Manage, organize and track promo items
3. Work closely with Communications manager and staff to maximize productivity
4. Maintain and coordinate schedules and communications with staff and vendors to maintain department efficiency
5. Report verbal and written updates on pending or needed items
6. Review and advise on promo proofs
7. Review and proof read company communications and social media account postings
8. Plan and execute photography/videography events
9. Editing in Adobe software
10. Assist with office layout planning in relation to on-going projects and events
11. Report events to Office Manager/Assistant for shared calendar staff notifications
12. Assist in monitor and managing department/project budget
13. Assist in and execute event planning
14. Reasonably troubleshoot issues before contacting vendor help
15. Direct pick-up and delivery services
16. Receive and sort incoming mail/packages and deliveries and manage outgoing mail/packages

Education, Experience, and other requirements:
· Valid Driver’s License and ability to be covered
· High School Diploma
· 2 Years of relevant work experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Prolonged periods of walking, standing
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds
· Must be able to work between different conditions (cold and hot weather)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
