Job Summary
iFix Galaxy is looking to add an individual to our growing team of repair technicians/sales associates. iFix Galaxy is a cell phone, tablet, & computer repair company with 2 locations in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a technician/sales associate your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- following opening and closing procedures.
- creating and maintaining customer work orders.
- handling inventory.
- repairs to the majority of all makes/models cellphones, tablets, & computers.
- customer service (both in-person and via phone calls).
- maintain the cleanliness of both the sales floor and the technician room.
- process new customers and checkout finished customers.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- 2-year cell phone repair experience.
- 5 years of computer repair experience.
- 3 years of sales experience.
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex PC problems for end users, and recommend and implement solutions
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation software/hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking software/hardware products
- Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems
- Monitor and test PC performance and provide statistics and reports
- Recommend, schedule, and perform PC, hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Provide guidance to less experienced personnel
- Prepare, coordinate and support user training and documentation and provide technical assistance for post-implementation support issues
- Provide service desk and technical support to users
- Perform routine to moderately complex problem analysis and resolution design for systems and applications
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Maintain timely and accurate helpdesk records using the ticket management system
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Salary: $14.00 to $17.00 /hour
Pay depends on experience. ***Must have open availability***
