Production and Inventory Manager

Job Summary

The primary responsibility for this position is to maintain stock at the Amazon warehouses. When stock is low, the inventory needs to be shipped in on time to maintain the stock levels. Other activities include: receive, and maintains stock of materials, equipment, products and other items for the stockroom. Listing and verifying products being sold. Delegate tasks to other production employees. Setting up electronic stations, building of office equipment when needed. Label and SKU creation, calibration, maintenance, and training to others of new equipment.

General Accountabilities

• Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves, warehouses, or storage facilities

• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, other areas.

• Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

• Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually or using computer.

• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

• Verification products being sold and physical locations

• Maintain Stock at fulfillment centers and warehouse.

• Verification of on time shipping

• Analyze costs of shipping, change methods when needed

• Create labels, bar codes for all products

• Ordering of supplies

• Pallet shipping

• Calibrate, maintenance, training of new equipment to other employees

• Delegation of duties to production staff

• Building office equipment, and setting up electronic stations as needed

• Resource to other employees due to wide knowledge base of ALL products and SKU's

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to clearly read / write English

• Ability to run and analyze reports

• Ability to convert metric to standard and standard to metric

• Organization skills, and ability to multitask

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Experience: One year of related experience.
