Roxbury is currently recruiting a full-time Maintenance Tech.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for assisting the Director, Plant Operations/Support Services with the daily operations of facility management. The Maintenance Tech assists in repair and/or renovation of buildings to include painting, alterations, cleaning, furnishing, etc. and provides maintenance support for all areas of the facility.

Roxbury Treatment Center is a STAR LRP-approved facility. STAR LRP is a Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program, and is intended for individuals working in either a full-time substance use disorder (SUD) treatment job that involves direct patient care in a county where drug overdose death rate exceeds the most current national average overdose death rate per 100,000 people, as reported by the CDC; or Mental Health Professional Shortage Area. As such, staff with 6 or more years of service would be able to have their student loans paid off (up to $250,000).

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, preferred. Valid driver's license required, with good driving record.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of mechanical skills, and repair and renovation of buildings. Demonstrates ability to organize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to effectively assess mechanical and technical problems, their source, and needed interventions. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Must possess good time management skills. Must be a team player. Must maintain certification in CPR, Verbal de-escalation, and Handle With Care.
