About the Role
The Sales BI Analyst will play a critical role on the Sales Analytics team by providing ongoing support for the wholesale sales organization. Primary responsibilities include the development and maintenance of analytic reporting, dashboards, data models, SalesForce.com administration, and assist with the analysis of sales and market data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, data management, business intelligence tool development (PowerBI), visual design best practices, expert Excel, and experience supporting sales, finance, and/or supply chain organizations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automated BI reports and dashboards in PowerBI and Excel
- Compile, analyze, and report all segments of available data, trends (historical/future), & KPI’s
- Assist with SalesForce.com platform administration.
- Contribute to the development of sales plans
- Monitor and analyze store sales, distributor sales, and inventory data.
- Provide actionable insights to guide the sales, marketing, and distribution teams.
- Monitor and evaluate wholesale sales team performance and make analysis recommendations.
- Collaborate with IT to support data management best practices.
- Assist with BI dashboard user training and documentation to ensure uniformity throughout the organization.
- Provide support to leadership with ad hoc reporting needs as directed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or inherent to the position.

- Advanced user Skills of Microsoft Office Excel

- Comfortable working with ERP systems, maintaining large data sets, and data cleansing.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3 years of relevant work experience.
- 2 years prior analytical analysis experience working in mid/large size CPG company sales/supply chain environments required. (Prefer cannabis, beverage, apparel, or food industries background)
- Advanced/Intermediate experience developing automated BI tools, data models, and reporting in PowerBI
- Programming experience: Object Oriented Programming, DAX & SQL. VBA a plus
- Analytical Skills: Expert Excel, Cognos, Power BI, Data Model Framework, and Retail Math Analytics
- Experience with SalesForce Administration
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio
- Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
