Overview
This position within Cost Accounting is responsible for supporting IGT's growing International Global Manufacturing organization. This position will support both International and North America. This person will need to be able to work independently and part of a team. This position reports into the Manager of Cost Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Strong cost accounting background with experience working in multiple currency’s
- Key focus: month-end duties include journal entries and account reconciliations
- Work with the North America & International Accounting teams
- Knowledge of transfer pricing requirements / government regulations
- Responsible for Obsolescence Reserve calculations and entry’s
- Blackline Reconciliations
- Cost and variance analysis (Ex. Production Order Variance Analysis, Average Material Cost File, & Rework Costs)
- Work with the North America & International Finance team to assist with forecasting.
- Partner with purchasing and operations to ensure accuracy of product costing in various accounting methods
- Ensure Accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheets
- Oversee the cycle count program reporting.
- Annual & Monthly Inventory Reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in Cost accounting, Accounting or Finance
- Strong PC experience with emphasis on advanced excel functions
- Critical thinking skills, proven ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with SAP & BW
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation and deadline driven
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint)

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
