IGT Indiana, of IGT, partners with the State Lottery Commission of Indiana to maximize net income to the State of Indiana in a socially responsible manner through the sales of Hoosier Lottery tickets.
Generating more than $1.7 billion in sales annually, IGT Indiana is responsible for marketing, product development, sales, corporate social responsibility, technology, and operations functions for and on behalf of the Hoosier Lottery.
Overview
The Engagement Specialist is a member of the Hoosier Lottery Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team and focuses on Community and Employee Engagement.
Reporting to the CSR Manager, this position will have a heavy focus on writing, presenting, and event execution. The Engagement Specialist helps leverage, develop and activate community relationships and employee engagement, and implements engagement events and programs.
This position is instrumental in our internal communications via newsletters, meetings and other communication.
Responsibilities
- Write, format, schedule, and implement employee communications via newsletters, intranet, and emails.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining annual promotional and editorial calendar.
- Coordinate and implement employee engagement activities such as lunch and learns, volunteering, philanthropic endeavors, and employee meetings and celebrations.
- In partnership with marketing, develop internal and external promotional materials like digital flyers.
- Pursue, leverage and implement community engagement opportunities that result in Hoosier Lottery mission storytelling in the form of speaking engagements and other events.
- Pursue and leverage community industry, partners for employee engagement purposes for professional and personal development.
- Contribute to the creation of social media posts and HoosierLottery.com content development related to engagement.
- Coordinate day-to-day communication and meetings with CSR Ambassadors (co-workers).
- Document engagements, attendance, and other metrics.
- Support other CSR initiatives in the realm of responsible gaming and responsible business practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in roles or departments such as marketing, communications, community engagement, hospitality, development or volunteer management
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, with experience writing for public and internal consumption
- Event planning experience preferred
- Public speaking experience
- Skilled in development of presentations and public messaging such as social media copy
- Project Management experience

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location.
These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
