Summer Student/Summer Help - Storeroom

The incumbent will be responsible for the receipt and delivery of in-process optical materials and finished optics inventories. Performs necessary computer transactions to initiate, record, and verify inventory data. Responsible for accuracy and upkeep of storeroom and associated inventories and proper identification, labeling, and storage of optical materials.

Education

• High School diploma & enrolled in a college program.

• Basic math skills

• Displays high degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Previous inventory or stockroom experience is a plus

Working Conditions

• Storeroom within manufacturing facility

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push/pull up to 20 lbs.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards.

This job requires that an individual come into contact with raw materials, products, equipment / machines, software or technology controlled by the Export Administration Regulations or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. The job must be filled by a U.S. person, or a person for whom a valid export control license, or exception, has been obtained or is not required from the U.S. Government.
