Description
- Assist Landmen in preparation of oil & gas contracts and leases and all related filings and correspondence
- Assist Landmen with closing transactions, documents, and exhibits
- Process, file, and correspond with WI owners for AFEs in a timely manner
- Initiate Non-Operated AFEs and prepare responses consistent with our JOA terms
- Enter AFEs and attachments for internal routing and approval
- Research Land issues with new and existing wells, leases, and contract files
- Assistance with data entry, scanning, and attaching documents into Landdox
- Researching, preparing, and sending surface owner notifications
- Retrieving, scanning, and forwarding mail received by the land department in Durango
- Copying, collating, and assembling packages to send out in the mail
- Assisting with check requests
- Receiving, tracking, and responding to calls from owners, and performing necessary research
Requirements
- Experience in oil and gas industry, preferably in Land, with a minimum of two years of experience
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams and general computer skills
- Flexibility to grow and change with the needs of a growing company
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team
- Compensation range from $40,000 to $55,000 based on experience.
Salary : $40,000 - $55,000
