What are the responsibilities and job description for the IKEA Baytown Distribution- Maintenance Technician $22/hr position at IKEA?
WHY WE WILL LOVE YOU
· Minimum of 2 years prior Building Maintenance experience required
· Must have experience with hand tools and their proper use
· Proven electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing skills
· Safety minded individual. Ability to lift 50 to 75lbs.
· Must have a valid drivers license. Must have ability to obtain an IKEA forklift driver certification
· Welding and fabrication skills a plus
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken, preferred
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on all equipment
- Perform inspection and adjustments as prescribed by the manufacturer
- Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers.
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
