What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Marketing Planning and Performance Leader position at IKEA?
IKEA Corp/Service Office is actively seeking a talented National Marketing Planning and Performance Leader to run our national program with a strong passion for marketing planning and performance analysis. The ideal applicant will have extensive industry knowledge with at least 10 years' experience in Marketing with an extensive experience in implementing and analysis of national marketing programs.
SUMMARY:
Directs the processes needed across the organization to deliver an integrated marketing and communication strategy, plan, and experience for the consumer, customer, and co-worker.
Key Assignments and scope of responsibilities:
- Ensure that a balanced set of KPIs is set and monitored to measure the impact marketing activities have on building a strong IKEA brand and the multichannel business
- Lead and manage the analysis of marketing performance for global and local teams
- Develop KPIs, definitions, distribution, frequency, functional requirements, and templates for measuring marketing performance
- Lead the development and execution of global post activity implementation reviews, sharing key findings with key stakeholders to improve the quality of global content and media development
- Develop actionable recommendations based on performance reviews as inputs into the development of marketing strategy and communication plans
- Support the INGKA with ad hoc analysis and recommendations
- Assure that marketing performance indicators are grounded in appropriate technology as well as data platforms that enable superior understanding of marketing KPIs
- Provide subject matter support for the country teams, keep them informed on planned deliveries, support them in their competence development and together with the countries evaluate unique and meaningful communication and content
- Work across functions within INGKA Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses
Qualifications & Key Competencies
- Proven advanced training in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of working with Marketing, Strategic Planning or equivalent
- Experience with digital marketing and a multichannel set-up
- Strong project management skills' Strong strategic and tactical skills
- Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a multi-functional team as well as independently
- Strong team player building positively on each other ideas and fostering a collaborative culture
- Proactive and displaying strong influencing skills in a multi-layer organization
- Proven track record in developing fact-based solutions which are meaningful for customer/consumers, result-oriented and durably improve the business performance
- Extensive understanding of performance measurement and marketing mix management
- Experience of working in the in customer-centric businesses, preferably retail and brand oriented, in a variety of consumer & customer landscapes and markets
- Experience in defining marketing and communication KPI’s aligned with the strategic objectives

Pay: $98,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
