We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who will oversee all hardware and software applications and provide high-level technical support covering network and equipment-related issues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support and oversee Administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps system.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, security, and visualization.
- Install and update computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Lead desktop, iMac, and Laptop support efforts, making sure all computers’ applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors and warnings by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions as well as assessing and reporting impact of issues on the Organization.
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Perform and delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.
- Train, teach and coach colleagues on this technology, helping to drive efficiency and a high degree of satisfaction for our internal customers
- Evaluate expanding or enhanced computer operations; makes recommendations for improvement and upgrades to hardware and software to manage workload and system requirements.
- Collaborates with outside programmers as necessary to explain errors and/or recommend modifications to computer programs.
- Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with MS Dynamics and its overall functionality and systems integration is required.
- Experience in MS Dynamics conversions is a plus.
- Must be able to troubleshoot all issues related to PC’s, MAC’s, and iPhones.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, required.
- At least four years of related experience required.
Position: Full-time Hourly
