Senior Operations Analyst

The Senior Operational Analyst will build or use existing data tools and technology that will provide sales organization with analytics and insights to increase efficiencies, and grow revenue & profitability. The position requires building regular communication channels with sales leadership to identify bottlenecks and improve existing processes.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analysis

• Tracking of sales pipeline at each stage, setting goals, and providing insight to achieve the goals on a regular basis
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly results. Provide qualitative insight into the results
• Provide prompt and accurate responses to numerous ongoing one-off analysis requests
• Perform thorough analyses to uncover actionable insights or strategic opportunities
• Design strategies to drive consistent results
• Collaborate with the IT team (your technical counterparts) to discuss and prioritize data needs, instrumentation/tracking, and other key inputs required for your analyses

New report development & process enhancement

• Enable data-informed decision-making across the sales organization through the development and deployment of dashboards/reports, standardized KPIs/operational metrics, and training/awareness
• Utilizing Tableau, Excel, and SQL to continue development of a full suite of operational reports from multiple systems
• Provide a high level of responsiveness in developing new reporting to address needs or questions from the senior leadership team.
• Partner with senior leaders (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Technology) to understand how they can help achieve Sales goals

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and Experience

Required:

• 5-7 years of finance and/or data analytics experience
• Experience in consumer lending (mortgage, credit cards, auto loans)
• Strong communication skills – ability to interact clearly and in timely manner with all levels of organization
• High energy
• SQL query building experience
• Advanced level Excel skills, expert level strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience building reporting solutions in Tableau or similar tool
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university; Finance, or other analytical/technical majors strongly preferred

Preferred:

• Advanced SQL knowledge
• Experience with running analytics for the sales organization
• Predictive modeling experience – R, Python, Knime

SALARY & BENEFITS:
$75,000 - 100,000

• Full-time positions are benefits-eligible the first month after 30 days of employment, which includes:
