Position Overview
Under direction, performs highly advanced technical and consultative behavioral analysis and modification services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis. Provides guidance to lower level staff in the development, conduct and implementation of behavior modification programs. Evaluates and interprets assessments and data to formulate interdisciplinary approaches to behavior problems.
Job Responsibilities
1. Performs highly advanced technical and consultative behavioral analysis and modification services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnosis.
2. Evaluates and interprets assessments and data to formulate interdisciplinary approaches to behavior problems.
3. Provides guidance to lower level staff in the development, conduct and implementation of behavior modification programs.
4. Serves as a member of the facility-wide Behavior Intervention Committee.
5. Integrates various facility and community-based services to meet the needs of individuals.
6. Prepares charts, graphs, summaries and reports.
7. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Requires possession of a master's degree, with major coursework in behavior analysis and modification, from a graduate program accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis.
2. Requires five year's professional experience in behavioral analysis and modification.
3. Requires successful completion of the agency sponsored Advanced Behavioral Analysis training program before probationary period completion.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is preferred.
Conditions of Employment
1. Requires the ability to meet all agency vaccine/health-related Policies and guidance.
Work Hours: 8am-4:30pm w exception of working 10:30am-7pm 2x monthly, M-F(Sat & Sun off)
