Maintain finished goods warehouse, and process customer orders. Work from pick papers/bills of lading for instructions on packing, labeling, and miscellaneous customer requests to assemble orders accurately and efficiently.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform duties to prepare, pack, weigh, and ship orders.
- Check and ship orders following DOT, IATA and IMDG regulations.
- Keep track of lot numbers on the packing list and in ERP system.
- Understand the Kanban process and help monitor the process (Kanban sweep and improvements).
- Maintain bin locations and keep an eye on lot numbers throughout the warehouse.
- Perform department housekeeping to keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other related duties as required to assist team members to reach shipping and quality goals. Cross train in all areas of the department.
- Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures. Participate in the STOP program.
