Reports To: Dean of Student Success
Salary: Starting salary $19.47 per hour based on qualifications and experience; excellent benefits package included
Hours: The ideal candidate for this position must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm; T/W until 7:00pm as needed & occasional evening and/or weekend events as needed.
Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Dean of Student Success, the Career Services Specialist is primarily responsible for the office management and administrative functions required to effectively implement policies and procedures and day-to-day operations relative to Career Services.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree; strong technical skills, including experience working with Microsoft Office; strong organizational and oral/written communication skills; excellent spelling, grammar, attention to detail, troubleshooting, and proofreading skills required. Event coordination/management experience; Bachelor’s Degree; experience working with an ERP system; Ellucian Colleague preferred. Plus previous experience working in a higher educational institution preferred.
